One of my cats, Dudley, loves to sleep on my desk and keep me company during the day. Of course, it makes it difficult to use my scanner/copier because I hate to disturb him but thankfully I don't have to use it very often.
Dudley is a Ragdoll. The bred was developed in the 60's from a mixture Persain, Burmese, and Burman. So you are 1/3 right, lol! He was named after the actor, Dudley Moore, because he was the runt of the litter and the breder names all her cats after movie stars. His father was Frank Sinatra and his mother was Sophia Loren.

Dudley is adorable. We are without cats ... our 20 year old Jasmine passed away. I miss her company!
I have three cats but Dudley is the only one that sleeps on my desk. I'm sorry you lost your cat, I know how they become part of the family.
Dudley is very beautifull, much more so than the fellow who shares his name in Harry Potter!
