Aspen Painting

I just finished this 6" x 8" oil painting of Aspen trees. The paint isn't dry so its a little shiny in places. After it drys I'll add a coat of varnish and the colors will really pop.

The FAD Group installed a fiber art exhibit at Studio Mid Del this past Saturday that will be hanging until March 21st. I forgot to take my camera to get pictures of Stephanie, Marie, Carla, Ron, and I hanging the artwork. The exhibit looks great, even if I say so myself. I have to take some signage on Wednesday so I'll take photos of the show at that time and upload them later this week.

Hi, Kay!
I absolutely LOVE this painting. This is my first visit to your site but certainly not my last. Your paintings and fiberarts are wonderful, and thanks so much for sharing! If I could paint, I would want it to come out just like yours!!
From a family deeply rooted in Oklahoma, hello from Missouri!
